The Siemens 832-0500 is a a 2-pipe, single set point, direct acting pneumatic room thermostat whose features include an exposed key adjustment with calibrated thermometer, noncorrosive parts, ease of calibration, quiet operation and 30 psi maximum operating pressure. Replacement cover is 856-044. Does not include adjustment key required for installation.
The 832-0500 is designed primarily for controlling individual rooms heated or cooled by radiation, ventilation or an air conditioning system. Other applications include room control of radiant panels, finned radiation and unit ventilators.
Features
The 832-0500 is equipped with a vapor pressure operated sensing element, capable of responding to a change of plus or minus 1/2°F (0.3°C), and gradual acting capable of positioning valves or dampers in intermediate positions. The thermostats are of a non-bleed type so that no air is used except when positioning a valve or damper motor. The thermostats are provided with an adjustable range of 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 30°C).
